  Dr. Wardius, Implant Specialist

Dr. WardiusDr. Wardius is trained in a wide range of methods to help you feel comfortable during your Dental Implant procedure. However, sometimes medications are needed if you have a low pain threshold, very sensitive teeth, a gag reflex, or moderate-to-severe anxiety. In this instance, Dr. Wardius will provide complimentary oral or IV sedation (for full-arch cases) to help you feel at ease during your dental implant treatment.

Dr. Wardius is a trained specialist who can replace one or more missing or damaged teeth with a permanent solution that leaves your smile looking 100% natural and allows you to eat the foods you love again – in as little as one day. He is also trained in the popular All-on-4 and Teeth in a Day procedures.

If anxiety or unease is keeping you from a beautiful smile, schedule your Free Consultation to see how easy it can be.

What is Sedation Dentistry?

Sedation dentistry, sometimes called “Sleep Dentistry,” is a safe, gentle option used to help patients relax while they are having dental treatment.  Medication will be used but you usually remain awake, unless you opt for a general anesthetic which will make you sleep.

Dr. Wardius will discuss the sedation options with you so that you can choose the one you prefer and which he feels is best suited to your circumstances:

Oral sedation involves taking one or more medications at our office within an hour of the scheduled procedure to produce a calm, drowsy effect. Many of our patients feel so comfortable that they fall into a light sleep during the dental treatment and leave our office feeling refreshed.

IV Sedation (or Intravenous Sedation) involves administering sedation medication through a special drip into a vein in the arm or hand. IV sedation is safe, effective, and best of all works quickly. It is often called “Sleep Dentistry”  because it puts you into a very relaxed and dreamlike state. You feel almost no pain, but at the same time, you are able to respond if your dentist asks you questions during the procedure. (To be provided)

As well as being sedated, Dr. Wardius will still apply a local anesthetic into your gum so that you will not feel any pain while he works on your teeth.

Why is the Dental Implant Treatment Better at Life Changing Dental Center?

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are widely regarded as the best treatment for loose dentures. Permanent dental implants are designed to make dentures much more secure and enable you to smile, eat and talk confidently. The implants act as a foundation for replacement teeth. They won’t decay and are designed to last for the rest of your life. Implants can be used in conjunction with various dental procedures to improve our oral health. Once they are installed, you’re much less likely to face problems with slippage and discomfort.

Why is Dr. Wardius’ approach for All-On-Four better?

The traditional approach to the All-On-Four procedure typically requires you make multiple visits to different locations, see different doctors on different days and even pay separate fees. Dr. Wardius’ 3D Approach changes everything. After just a few hours, you’ll leave his office with beautiful, functioning, retained teeth that you can eat with as soon as the Novocain wears off. Why go through so many steps and so many different places and doctors when there’s a better way?

To regain your natural, beautiful smile, schedule your Free Consultation today with Dr. Wardius. And as a special thank, he’ll include the sedation medication for free.
